...who can recommend a good but not-to-spendy VOIP phone?I don't see any recent threads on this topic, so I hope this not a dupe topic which will excite Mr PeterReader ;)For my own personal use I have the option of a decent Linksys ATA box I have lying around here in a box somewhere... or I if I am feeling very adventurous I might even unearth an old router I have with dual ATA ports and try to configure it as a repeater with my existing network, but...I'd like to encourage a few of my phone buddies to sign up so we can have free calls and I really don't have the time or patience to go to all that trouble setting up that kind of hardware for the computer-illiterate, so...Are there handset/devices available which I can point them to which are noobie-friendly plug-in-and-go with minimal amount of high-tech config?I know this is probably a tall order, but thought I might venture to enquire all the same hehe
