Linksys SPA2102 with Bigbipe not working - but could be cabling

Up till now I have successfully been using a SPA2102 with VoIP on Vodafone cable. My provider is https://simonics.com/gw/index.php which is a nice gateway which allows me to connect my SPA2101 to my Google Voice number. That means I can make and receive calls on my Google Voice number for free.

Since this has been working for ever I never had to change anything. But today I moved to Bigpipe UFB and I am using a ASUS RT-AC66U instead of the Huawei. That works fine and I am getting the 200/20 I paid for.

Now this is probably a silly question but for the life of my I know there is only one ethernet cable attached to the SPA2202 but for the life of me I can't recall if it's to the LAN or Internet port. If it's to the LAN port then I can configure the device but it's hard to see how it can then connect to the Internet given the WAN configuration page has all kinds of settings required.

From a dim memory I recall having to connect the cable from the router to the ethernet port to configure it and then to the Internet port to make it work.

If that is the case then the WAN settings are unclear to me. I have static IP with Bigpipe. The WAN configuration looks like this

The Bigpipe folks told me in the Asus to choose PPPOE and logon as bigpipe with any password and that works fine for the main Internet.

But I can't get the SPA2101 to register at all. I am not sure if that's because I have filled out the WAN fields wrong (I have coded my static IP in the static IP field and I don't know what the gateway address is). Or should I have the Internet connection patched in or does Bigpipe not support VoIp? I can't believe the last point since I have another VoiP adapter (OBI100) which is working fine.

All the Line1 settings are as they were for Vodafone cable.

Thanks for any advice
